Public Resources Code section 42033.2 requires a program operator to submit, on or before March 31 of each year, a complete annual program budget for its stewardship program.

 CalRecycle determined UltiMed’s 2024 annual program budget for home-generated sharps waste (initially submitted June 21, 2023) incomplete on July 20, 2023. On September 15, CalRecycle determined UltiMed’s resubmitted 2024 annual program budget for home-generated sharps waste incomplete. UltiMed was required to resubmit its 2024 annual program budget for home-generated sharps waste to CalRecycle within 30 days from the date of receipt of CalRecycle's completeness determination (i.e., by October 15, 2023).

 CalRecycle has 90 days from the date of receipt of a complete annual program budget to review the document and adopt a finding of approval, conditional approval, or disapproval.
