Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed design parameters: the proposed facility will be a compostable materials handling facility that will receive green material, food material, vegetative food material, agricultural material, and construction and demolition wood waste; permitted hours of operation of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday; permitted volume of 500 tons per day; permitted area of 7.13 acres; and a design capacity of 30,000 cubic yards.
