The recycling program rates announced July 1, 2023, will remain in effect until further notice. The July 1, 2023, rate information is available on the Department of Resources Recycling & Recovery (CalRecycle) website (2023 Mid-Year Recycling Program Rates - CalRecycle Home Page).

CalRecycle will hold the 2025 Rate Determination Survey Methodology Workshop on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 14549.5, to consult with stakeholders regarding the 2025 Survey Cycle. The 2025 Survey Cycle will be critical to establishing the appropriate recycling program rates as data for the new beverage containers added to the program beginning January 1, 2024 will be included in the survey.

CalRecycle will keep all interested parties informed of changes to the recycling program rates as information becomes available.
