CalRecycle will hold an initial informational session on February 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. regarding the SB 343 Preliminary Report Findings. The session will cover the relevant statutory provisions, study methodology, and preliminary findings.

This session is intended to inform the feedback that members of the public may submit in connection with the statutorily required public meeting, which will occur at a later date. The final report will be published within 60 days of that formal public meeting.

Members of the public can submit comments at the informational session or via email to wastechar@calrecycle.ca.gov. The deadline to submit comments for consideration in the finalization of the SB 343 Findings Report is April 2, 2024. See more detailed instructions for submitting public comment below.

Simultaneous Spanish interpretation will be available in-person at the informational session and remotely via Zoom or webcast. For in-person interpretation services, headsets will be available and can be provided by CalRecycle staff prior to or during the session. If you need interpretation services in a language other than Spanish, please notify the Department at wastechar@CalRecycle.ca.gov by February 6, 2023, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
