On January 26, 2024, the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality, Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), granted an emergency waiver of the daily and weekly permitted tonnage until May 25, 2024, due to the winter storms. On May 21, 2024, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until September 22, 2024.  On September 24, 2024, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until January 22, 2025.  On January 22, 2025, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until March 1, 2025.
