On January 29, 2024, the City of San Diego Development Services Department, Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), granted an emergency waiver of the permitted daily tonnage and hours of operation until May 28, 2024, due to the winter storms.  On May 17, 2024, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until September 25, 2024.
