On October 8, 2024, the Ventura County Resource Management Agency, Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), issued a Stipulated Agreement that allows the temporary waiver of Solid Waste Facilities Permit terms 4(c) and 17(B)(5), pertaining to the permitted maximum tonnage, until December 31, 2024, due to a temporary emergency. On January 13, 2025, the LEA granted an extension of the temporary waiver until March 31, 2025. On January 13, 2025, the LEA granted an extension of the temporary waiver until March 31, 2025. On January 24, 2025, the LEA granted a revision of the temporary waiver to include Solid Waste Facilities Permit terms 4(b) and 4(d), pertaining to the permitted hours of operation for receipt of refuse/waste and the permitted traffic volume. On March 31, 2025, the LEA granted an extension of the temporary waiver until May 13, 2025.
