As part of its sustained efforts to provide training and outreach activities that will assist the regulated community with achieving regulatory compliance, CalRecycle will host a webinar introducing the changes to the Recycling and Disposal Reporting System (RDRS) resulting from the passage and implementation of Senate Bill (SB) 343 (Allen, Chapter 507, Statutes of 2021) and Assembly Bill (AB) 881 (Gonzalez, Chapter 501, Statutes of 2021).
The main topics that will be discussed in this webinar are how to report, in RDRS, when required:
- Collection method (how facilities collected material that they accepted for or sent to recycling)
- Constituent materials of heterogeneous material types
- Mixed plastic waste export
How to Participate in the Webinar
CalRecycle will hold the virtual public webinar starting at 10:00 am on March 20, 2025. The public workshop will be accessible via Zoom or Webcast.
Simultaneous Spanish interpretation will be available remotely via Zoom and Webcast. If you need interpretation services in a language other than Spanish, please notify the Meeting Coordinator, Steven Sander (steven.sander@calrecycle.ca.gov), by March 14, 2025, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Zoom attendees will be able to submit questions via Zoom. Webcast attendees, or any interested member of the public, may submit their questions during and after the webinar via email to RDRS@CalRecycle.ca.gov with the subject line “March 20 RDRS Webinar.”
