Revised Solid Waste Facilities Permit

Tehama County/Red Bluff Landfill – Tehama County

Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes: 
  • An increase to the combined Permitted Traffic Volume for the landfill and the separately permitted Tehama County/Red Bluff Materials Recovery Facility (SWIS # 52-AA-0027) from 400 to 600 vehicles per day.
  • Addition of a Tier 2 Composting Facility to the existing landfill Solid Waste Facilities Permit.
  • Updates to the Joint Technical Document, including the addition of a Report of Composting Site Information (RCSI) that addresses composting operations and regulatory standards.
