This item presents staff’s analysis of the following document submitted by MED-Project on July 18, 2025, for its covered drugs stewardship program:

Revised 2024 Annual Report, including:

b.    Attachment B – List of Potential Authorized Collectors Submitting Written Offer to Participate

c.    Attachment C – Sites in 14 Counties that were Contacted

f.     Attachment F – Instances Secure Collection Receptacles Were Not Available to the Public

j.      Attachment J – List of Covered Entities 

k. Attachment K - Request for Action Drugs Revised 2024 Annual Report Final

MED-Project was required to submit a revised annual report for its covered drugs stewardship program within 60 days of June 30, 2025, that addressed the deficiencies identified in the Request for Action titled, Review of MED-Project's 2024 Annual Report for Covered Drugs.

CalRecycle has 90 days from the date of receipt of a complete annual report to review the document and adopt a finding of approval, conditional approval, or disapproval.

Note that under the California Public Records Act (Government Code section 7920.000 et seq.), your written and oral comments, attachments, and associated contact information (e.g., your address, phone, email, etc.) become part of the public record and can be released to the public upon request. 

Supporting documents will be posted in the “Documents” section. Copies of documents not linked below and information that an interested party believes is redacted beyond what is required by law may be requested via a Public Records Act Request.
