This item presents staff’s analysis of the following document submitted by MED-Project on July 18, 2025, for its home-generated sharps waste stewardship program:

Revised 2024 Annual Report, including:

a.    Attachment A – Requests and Distribution by County 

b.    Attachment B – Daily Impressions for Digital Media 

c.    Attachment C – List of Sharps Covered Entities 

d.    Attachment D – List of Sharps Covered Products 

e.    Attachment E – Local Agency Requests 

f. Attachment F - Request for Action Sharps Revised 2024 Annual Report Final

MED-Project was required to submit a revised annual report for its home-generated sharps waste stewardship program within 60 days of June 30, 2025, that addressed the deficiencies identified in the Request for Action titled, Review of MED-Project's 2024 Annual Report for Home-Generated Sharps Waste.

CalRecycle has 90 days from the date of receipt of a complete annual report to review the document and adopt a finding of approval, conditional approval, or disapproval.
