This third workshop concerning the development of the report to the Legislature required by AB 341 (Chesbro) "...that provides strategies to achieve the state's policy goal not less that 75 percent of solid waste generated be source reduced, recycled, or composted by the year 2020..." provides an update on the process, a summary of major themes from stakeholder comments on the planning document, and an overview of current initiatives related to focus areas outlined in the planning document.
