Summary

This is the first in a series of workshops exploring concepts for MRF performance standards: 1) commercial recycling—mixed waste processing comparable to source separation, and 2) technology-neutral MRF residuals.  Proposed definitions related to mixed waste processing and post-recycled residuals will be discussed, as well as key issues and options for setting MRF residual performance standards in these two areas.  Please direct all questions, comments, and concerns to MRFStandards@Calrecycle.ca.gov
