Report

Formerly titled "Compost Best Management Practices and Benefits." This report was prepared under contract for the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). A team at UC Riverside conducted research on the benefits of compost and mulch and quantified these benefits by studying compost-based Best Management Practices (BMP) in a field demonstration setting. This report also was published in PDF format, but the Word 2007 version is required to utilize an interactive Storage Capacity Calculator found in Appendix A. (Users of earlier Word versions may contact CalRecycle's Organics staff for assistance if they cannot access this document online).
