Description
This case study supports responsibilities of the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) under the California Air Resources Board Scoping to address greenhouse gas emissions through an Extended Producer Responsibility approach. The document contains findings on four products: carpet, single-use alkaline batteries, monitors and TVs, and laptops and tablet computers, to determine when a product purchased with recycled content has reduced associated greenhouse gas emissions as compared to a similar product made from virgin materials.
