This report was prepared under contract for the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). It details the methodology and results of the Direct Impacts Model that was developed and used in support of the Used Oil Life Cycle Assessment conducted by CalRecycle pursuant to Senate Bill 546 (SB 546, Lowenthal 2009). This report provides detailed economic impacts to the used oil management sector inside and outside of California as they relate to the management of California-generated used oil. This report shows the impacts over a 20-year time period beginning in 2010 for the baseline condition as well as a series of hypothetical policy scenarios. Please refer to the other associated reports with this project for more information.
