The objective of this project was to provide information that gives a better understanding of how discarded materials are generated, disposed, and diverted by the commercial sector, both for individual industry groups and for the commercial sector as a whole. This can help businesses, local governments, and CalRecycle better direct efforts to increase diversion and reduce disposal.
