Public Report 3 summarizes, for each disposal facility within California, disposal of solid waste, designated waste, and disaster debris, and beneficial reuse of materials for alternative daily cover, alternative intermediate cover, construction, and landscaping and erosion control. Only landfills may apply materials for beneficial reuse. Public Report 3 reflects the most current information contained within RDRS.

This report displays data either by year or by quarter. Selecting multiple years will summarize tons by year and show the absolute and percent difference in tons between each successive year. Selecting a single year but multiple quarters will summarize tons by quarter and show the absolute and percent difference in tons between each successive quarter.

Reporting period 2019 quarter 1 and quarter 2 aren't required reporting years in the Recycling and Disposal Reporting System (RDRS). Reporting in RDRS began in 2019 quarter 3. Please see the (California Solid Waste Statistics) web page to view data for 2019 quarter 1 and quarter 2 which was reported in the eDRS reporting system.
