RDRS Report 2: Jurisdiction Disposal and Beneficial Reuse by Destination

Public Report 2 summarizes by quarter or report year summed, for each destination disposal facility, solid waste disposed and green material reused beneficially for alternative daily cover (ADC) from California jurisdictions. Solid waste may be either 1) disposed at in-California landfills, transformation facilities, and engineered municipal solid waste (EMSW) conversion facilities, or 2) exported out of California. Within this report, exported solid waste is included within the “landfill” category, and the “destination” for such materials refers to the entity that exported the materials. Green material may be either 1) reused beneficially as ADC at in-California landfills, or 2) exported out of California for beneficial reuse. This report does not show destination information for transfer/processors that handle solid waste and/or green material reused beneficially. The data within this report are updated nightly.

Reporting period 2019 quarter 1 and quarter 2 aren't required reporting years in the Recycling and Disposal Reporting System (RDRS). Reporting in RDRS began in 2019 quarter 3. Please see the (California Solid Waste Statistics) web page to view data for 2019 quarter 1 and quarter 2 which was reported in the eDRS reporting system.

This report shows data only for regional agencies and does not show data for individual jurisdictions that are part of regional agencies (i.e., "regional agency members"). When a search is run for a regional agency member, results will appear for the regional agency as a whole rather than for the specific member.
