RDRS Report 8: Statewide Totals for Disposal and Disposal-Related Materials

Public Report 8 summarizes by quarter or report year summed the California-wide tons of disposal and disposal-related materials either received by in-California disposal facilities, exported out of California to out of state disposal facilities or transfer/processors, and/or imported into California disposal facilities from out of state. Disposal related materials include designated waste, disaster debris, green material beneficial reuse and non-green material beneficial reuse. Beneficial reuse materials are categorized by use type which includes material reused beneficially at California landfills for alternative daily cover (ADC), alternative intermediate cover (AIC), construction, and landscaping and erosion control. The data within this report are updated nightly.

Reporting period 2019 quarter 1 and quarter 2 aren't required reporting years in the Recycling and Disposal Reporting System (RDRS). Reporting in RDRS began in 2019 quarter 3. Please see the (California Solid Waste Statistics) web page to view data for 2019 quarter 1 and quarter 2 which was reported in the eDRS reporting system.
