CalRecycle is mission tasked by the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) to manage a program that coordinates Disaster Debris and Hazard Tree Removal Operations (DDHTR) under the California Disaster Assistance Act Event No. CDAA-2022-07 for Siskiyou County for the McKinney, Mill, and Mountain Fires as a Category 1 response. CalRecycle intends to perform this work in an expedited manner in full coordination with the affected County, Cal OES, and, if applicable, FEMA requirements as outlined in this Request for Bids to address the immediate threat to human health and safety while protecting the environment. The “Request for Bids” solicitation represents Stage 2 of CalRecycle’s Prequalified Bidder’s List process. Only Prequalified Bidders are eligible to submit bids in response to this solicitation. Therefore, you are invited to review and respond to this Modified Request for Bids (RFB) titled 2022 FIRES IN SISKIYOU COUNTY: STRUCTURAL DEBRIS REMOVAL & HAZARD TREE REMOVAL SERVICES, DRR22039. CalRecycle posted a 5-day notice on September 25th, 2022, allowing interested parties the opportunity to submit a prequalification application by 2:00 P.M. September 30th, 2022. Entities submitting prequalification applications after this deadline are not eligible to participate in this RFB.
