Executive Director Delegated Action: Modifed Permit

The Board has delegated authority to the Executive Director to take action on modified solid waste facilities permits (See California Code of Regulations, Title 27, Section 21685(c). Listed below are the proposed modified permits that the Board has received from Enforcement Agencies since the agenda publication date of the Board's last regular meeting. The Executive Director will act on each proposed permit by concurring in or objecting to it no later than the Final Action Date specified below for each item. If you have relevant information that you want the Executive Director to consider for one or more of these items, please submit the information in writing to the staff listed for each item or P.O. Box 4025, Sacramento, CA 95812-4025 as early as possible.

  •   Consideration Of A Modified Full Solid Waste Facilities Permit (Compostable Materials Handling Facility) For Cold Creek Compost, Inc. Mendocino County (23-AA-0029).     The Executive Director may take the following actions:

    • CONCUR: The Executive Director has concurred in the proposed modified solid waste facilities permit. (Note that, if the Executive Director fails to act on a proposed permit within the statutory period, he or she is deemed to have concurred in the proposed permit.)
    • OBJECT: The Executive Director has objected to the proposed modified solid waste facilities permit for the reasons specified and the modified permit package has been returned to the EA.
    • WITHDRAWN: With the consent of the applicant, the Enforcement Agency withdrew the proposed modified permit.

    In some cases, the Executive Director will submit proposed modified permits to the Board so that Board members, interested parties and citizens may discuss them prior to his or her action on the proposed permit. Please refer to the Board’s agenda for notice of any such discussion items.
