Presents results of a survey of existing scientific literature regarding the manufacture, use, recycling, and ultimate disposal of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in the built environment. The survey, funded by the California Integrated Waste Management Board to help guide policy decisions regarding the use of PVC, was conducted by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment.
