This report was prepared under a contract from the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). It looks at economic considerations for implementing what is known as "The Stanford Process," which would use methane captured at landfills or wastewater treatment facilities to create a biodegradable plastic made from waste byproducts.
