This report was prepared under a contract from the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). It presents the results of research to determine several engineering properties of tire-derived aggregate. These include suitability in a septic system leach field; temperature properties in fills; compressibility; and permeability under various load conditions.
