Case study

Describes the organization and components of a resource recovery (RR) park and gives examples and case studies for communities interested in creating their own facilities. RR parks include opportunities for reuse, recycling, compost processing, manufacturing, and retail businesses in a central facility. One of 24 studies showcasing successful recycling and waste reduction programs developed by local and regional government to achieve California's 50 percent waste diversion goals. The studies were developed with the support of the California Integrated Waste Management Board.
