Provides examples of how communities in California and other cities manage recycling programs for special events such as sports events, fairs, and festivals. One of 24 studies showcasing successful recycling and waste reduction programs developed by local and regional government to achieve California's 50 percent waste diversion goals. The studies were developed with the support of the California Integrated Waste Management Board.
