Below are per employee waste disposal rates for business groups as identified in CalRecycle's 2014 Waste Characterization Study. Rates are expressed as tons per employee per year, based on total employment (full time and part time) at the businesses sampled in the study, not full time equivalents. Information on amounts of materials in the residential disposed stream are here.
